We're upgrading our computer system on 10th January.
To make sure the transition to the new system is as smooth as possible, the evening surgery on the 9th January 2012 will be earlier than usual to allow the surgery to close the old system and transfer all the information to the new system ready for Tuesday morning.
The staff are already receiving training on the new system but we ask everyone to be patient during the days following the transfer as it will take time for staff to be fully conversant with the new system.
We ask that patients order sufficient medication at the beginning of January so they don’t need to order during the week beginning the 9thJanuary, just in case delays are encountered in processing the work.
We will stop booking routine appointments on Monday 9th January at 3pm to enable us to transfer the appointment book to the new system and will start booking routine appointments from 3pm on the 10th January. Urgent appointments and telephone appointments will still be available throughout this period.
EMIS Access appointments during the upgrade:
EMIS Access will be unavailable to book appointments from 2pm on 9th January until 10am on the 10th January.
