Home VisitsWhere possible please request home visits before 10.30 am.When requesting a home visit you will be asked to give your full name, address, date of birth and telephone number along with a few details as to why you are requesting a home visit. The visiting doctor may ring you at home prior to visiting . Please remember that visits are for patients who are too ill to attend the surgery. A home visit takes four times longer than seeing a patient at the surgery, therefore, in the interests of all our patients please try and come to the surgery if possible. Test ResultsThe nurse, health care assistant or phlebotomist taking the sample will tell you how long it is likely to be before the result is available. Please ring on 08451 222 686 between 2.00pm and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. To ensure confidentiality, test results will not be given to a third party and it is our policy not to give pregnancy test results over the telephone. Please note that x-ray reports usually take about five working days before they are available from the practice. Smear results may take four to eight weeks and will normally be sent to you by post, if you haven’t been notified of your result by eight weeks please contact the medical centre. |
