CarersIf you routinely care for someone else, we do ask that you please let us know so that we can have this information on file.Hard of HearingIf you are hard of hearing please let the reception staff know at the time of making your appointment, this will enable them to make a note on the computer so that the doctor is aware when you are called through. A Hearing Loop is available if you have a hearing aid. Please inform the receptionist when you come to see the doctor or nurseHospital referralsIf a GP recommends a referral to the hospital as part of your investigations or for treatment he will usually write a letter to a consultant and you should receive an appointment through the post within six weeks. If you haven’t heard from the hospital or the practice in that time you should contact the practice to let them know.Please let the hospital know if you cannot keep an appointment. Waiting lists can be long and a missed appointment cannot be used for someone else who may have waited a long time to be seen. |
