Meningitis C VaccineThis vaccine is available to everyone up to the age of 24 years, if you haven’t had yours yet then please make an appointment with one of the practice nurses as soon as possible.Pneumococcal VaccinationA pneumonia vaccine is recommended for everyone over the age of sixty five years or anyone under the age of sixty five years of age who suffers from any of the following:- Chronic Respitatory problems including asthma, heart disease, kidney disease and diabetes. This is a once only vaccine, unless you do not have a spleen and then a booster is required every six years.Please make an appointment with one of the practice nurses for this to be given or alternatively if you would like more advice please ring to speak to one of them. TravelIf you require travel vaccinations, immunisations or advice, please either make an appointment with one of our practice nurses or telephone to speak to them for advice. We are currently able to offer travel vaccines free of charge. |
