Attached to the Practice
District Nursing Team
The community nurses provide nursing care in the patient’s home
when it is required and work with the doctors to deliver care and chronic
disease management
Community
Midwives
Alison Elsworth and Pauline Winter are attached to the practice and
provide care for the expectant mother and for the mother and newborn
for the first few weeks after delivery.
Health Visitors
Ceita Bertie and Kathryn Lush are attached to the practice and come
into the building for the baby clinic each Tuesday afternoon. They can
also be contacted at the Newfield Clinic on 0114 226 1887. They work
with the under fives.
Physiotherapist
Liz is available to see patients who are referred by the doctors.
Chropodist
Mr Sheldon is available to see patients of the practice and there is
a subsidised charge for this service
Students
We have a long association with the University of Sheffield and medical
students may work in the practice as part of their training or to do
research.
GP Training
The practice is currently not training General Practitioners and so
we do not have a registrar attached to the practice and are not part
of the Vocational Training Scheme
